Alex Sherman, PT

Clinical Director

Alexander Sherman earned his degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo and has been a Licensed New York Physical Therapist since 2000. Mr. Sherman has extensive experience in a variety of settings that include hospital-based and out-patient clinics specializing in: Orthopedics, sports injuries, arthritis management, workplace ergonomics, postural re-education and injuries sustained in motor vehicle accidents. In working with patients of all ages, Mr. Sherman has learned the importance of one-on-one care. Each client receives an individualized treatment plan that best suits his or her diagnosis. He continues his education through courses that teach the latest therapeutic physical therapy techniques. Mr. Sherman is fluent in Russian.

Denniele Mae Chua

Physical Therapist

Denniele Mae Chua earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Riverside College, Inc., Philippines, in 2018. Since then, she has gained six years of experience in out-patient rehabilitation, in-patient care, school-based physical therapy, and home care. She is dedicated to delivering personalized care and stays at the forefront of her field by attending courses and seminars throughout the year and integrating evidence-based practices into her work. 
Recently moving to New York, she is excited to bring her expertise to a new community.
Outside of work, Denniele is an avid nature enthusiast. She loves spending time outdoors and exploring new places, finding inspiration in the beauty of the natural world.

Patrisha Hanna Severson

PT, MSES, DPT (cand.)

Hanna Severson earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila) in 2018 in the Philippines. She completed her Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Concordia University – St. Paul in 2023 in Minnesota and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in Minnesota. Hanna has practiced in diverse locations, including the Philippines, Dubai, and most recently, New York, gaining experience in various settings such as acute care (ICU), in-patient, outpatient, and homecare. She has handled a broad range of cases, including neurological, orthopedic, musculoskeletal, post-operative, sports injury rehabilitation, healthy aging, and pediatrics. Dedicated to continuous learning, Hanna stays updated with the latest rehabilitation research and courses to enhance her PT skills and improve patient care.
When not working, Hanna loves traveling to explore new places, cultures, languages, and food. She has travelled to more than 15 countries to date. 

Francy Abraham

BS PT

Francy graduated with her Bachelor’s in PT in 2005 from the esteemed Dr. MGR Medical University in Madras, India. Since graduation, she worked for the Madras Medical Mission hospital dealing with Chest/Limb Physical therapy in Pediatric and Adult ICU for Pre-op and Post- op Cardiac care. Apart from Cardiac exposure, she had the opportunity to help Renal transplant patients and IVF patients. Francy also had the opportunity to work with the YMCA, Madras to help athletes in their recovery process.
In early 2009, Francy moved here to NY and started her practice at a Nursing home in Tarrytown for a year, before moving to work in an Assisted living facility/ Dementia Unit in Yonkers for 5 years. Now, Francy has been with Riverdale Sports PT for the past 6 years, managing clients with various Sports injuries, restorative and maintenance PT for Geriatric and Pediatric cases.
Apart from work, Francy plays Cricket in Westchester for the Blue Rebels Team, where she is the Vice-Captain and team PT.
