TENDONITIS OF THE UPPER EXTREMITIES​

Tendonitis is the inflammation, irritation and swelling of the tendons. When referring to the upper extremities this condition can occur in the wrist, elbow and/ or forearm. The condition usually develops as a result of overuse, injury (strain or tear) and/or aging of the tendon. Common symptoms of tendonitis include pain, swelling, burning sensations, stiffness and inability to move parts of the arm freely.​
